Thoughts from deep within

Life is indeed a rollercoaster of emotions.

Just when you think your making some headway, bang, there's the unforgiving wall. And just when you've reached the end of the rope, someone's holding out their hand...

Then, there is the constant battle of the heart and the head. Rationally, it is the right thing to do, but the heart, ah, why does it never listen? It is so easy to lose your heart to an idea, to a person, to a purpose, but, BUT, if your head is not with the heart, contentment, the biggest reason you follow your heart, eludes you. Of course, do the rational thing, and your heart isn't in it... Why were we not blessed with either one? Life would have been simpler.

One more thought, why are we blessed with intuition/gut feel, when, more often than not, we do not have the courage to follow it?
You fear for a loved one, but you dare not stop them just because your intuition says so... What if you are wrong???
On the other hand, you decide to stop them, to no avail, and the one you love will turn against you... and you do not have the courage to withstand that.

Why??? A very interesting word...

  1. Life isn't meant to be simple I suppose, for it surely is a platform for immense learning and subsequent development as a result thereof!

  3. But, then this is what Life is all about. Without these spices, it would be an absolute bland dish.

  6. Rationality (Head) Vs Emotion (Heart)
It's a choice we have. Both come with side effects. It's the choices we make that determines different outcomes...making life journey interesting and sometimes making us wonder, "what if...". If it was so easy, we can't appreciate the gain. A little sacrifice adds spice to the value of outcome.

    Gift of gut feel
So we can inspire those who have the will to do but lack the idea :)

    Stopping a loved one
Is the person more important than the relationship. Would we sacrifice the relationship to protect the person. This would answer it

    1. A little sacrifice does go a long way.

This post was written a while ago... looking back, I think I'd now choose to protect the person even if the relationship was at stake.

As always, it is good to connect with you.
